High Point Market Trend Wrap
By Karen B. Wolf
High Point Market has become a trend addiction for the Interior Design World. With the launch of Trend Spotters, Instagram Take-Overs, Trend Tours and all the trend related hashtags, it has become a must-have event to attend. I personally border on HPMKT FOMO and while I could skip a market each year the hottest trends are begging for attention. (Mine of course, right?). A few years ago, it was very easy to receive streamlined information from Market on leading trends. But with Instagram clutter and multiple parties competing for attention, it is now almost impossible to determine who is who, what is what, and the top trends emerging. So I decided to simply create my own Design Detail Trend Report as an avid attendee and veteran in the industry. I welcome your contributions to my trend spotting as there is no limit to the wealth of interesting observations and collaborative insights. @karenbwolfinteriors.
