Do you ever feel ready to take your business to the next level, and yet sometimes find yourself behaving in ways that are in direct conflict with moving forward?

This is because it is your beliefs that drive your behavior. No matter how much you say you want to reach those goals and be successful, if deep inside you connect that success with some kind of pain – loss of family time, rejection, vulnerability, etc. – your subconscious will sabotage you.

So how do you eliminate that doubt and fear from your mind? First, as with any change, you need to acknowledge the doubt. Next, honestly analyze the validity of that doubt and then identify the source of the doubt. You don’t need to psychoanalyze yourself back to your childhood – just try to identify the source of the doubt. And don’t forget to remind yourself of the things you do well and acknowledge your accomplishments!

Identify possible challenges causing your doubt, Write them down and look at them honestly — separating reasonable and unreasonable doubts. Evaluate them and for any reasonable doubts, ask for advice from a person with an outside perspective who might have expertise in the area.

Work on practicing mindfulness techniques such as mindful breathing, self-affirmation, meditation, and most importantly, take control of your subconscious. An excellent tool in this process is a book written in the early 1960’s and yet still popular: The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Kelly. It is stated that the book has helped millions around the world achieve remarkable goals, simply by changing the way they think.

“As a man thinks, feels, and believes so is the condition of his mind, body, and circumstances.” Kelly shares a method to understand what you are thinking and doing and thereby to help fill your subconscious with all the wonderful opportunities of life. He explains how the “miracle-working powers” of your subconscious mind can help you to achieve the goals you have set for your business and in other areas of your life.

Would you rather be a person who is full of confidence and faith in your abilities, or one who is full of fears and doubts, afraid to go forward and then wondering why things don’t change or improve.

Learn how to recognize the potential of your deeper mind, develop it and be open and receptive and it will allow you to receive the knowledge to bring forth new ideas, attract the perfect business partner or associate, and/or create the financial freedom you have been seeking.

Our fears or doubts are mental obstacles we have created – so learn to use the power of your subconscious to overcome those doubts and fears and move forward toward the success you are capable of. After all, those in the design profession rely on their imagination to project creative designs day after day – so why not use that same creative imagination to influence your subconscious and project yourself into the vision you want to achieve – in other words the vision of your future.
